NEEDS ANALYSIS
Is training the answer? Training is defined as the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relates to specific useful skills.

INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEM DESIGN
KnowledgeCast processes your training needs through the industry standard Instructional System Design (ISD) method. The ISD methodology involves the following evaluation:

  • Analysis – Create the Instructional System (IS) - outline objectives, storyboard, and overall interactive hierarchy. Determine what types of training are needed such as whether or not simulations are necessary. Will the training be self-paced? Synchronous or asynchronous? Blended learning? Learning Management System (LMS)?


  • Design – Determine and build instructional content and context through storyboards, working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME), content writers, etc.


  • Develop – Build rich internet application (RIA) with a combination of content delivery tools such as audio, video, graphics, Flash, chats, etc., working closely with SME.


  • Implement – Execution of RIA and content delivery tools housed in a SCORM and 508 compliant Learning Management System.


  • Evaluate – Validation, proofing, and testing are constants throughout analysis, design, development, and implementation. Create use case study throughout process to improve the system.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Within the learning environment students are assessed prior to and after training sessions. Measurement of knowledge, skills, insight, and wisdom are taken, recorded, and processed. Further measurement of the training is taken in the post-training performance schedule. Student objectives achieved. Employee development moves forward. Needs are met!
